Struggling with conversation skills? I know the feeling. While for some lucky people conversation skills come naturally, for a lot of us, we struggle to grasp it. It took me years of trial and error to figure out how to better communicate with others. Here at Improve Conversation, my mission is to teach you what I have learned, to save you from having to waste all the time I did in trying to piece it together.
One of the aspects readers of my work like is how I don’t believe that making friends or improving conversation skills should be your number one priority. I also believe in the 90-10 rule when it comes to your social life, which is that you should not spend more than 10% of your time and energy on your social life, and the rest of your time and energy should be spent on your work, hobbies, exercising, and other pursuits. As counter-intuitive as this might sound, experience has shown me that spending too much time on your social life will actually cause you to do worse.
Followers of my blog appreciate my unique but honest perspective, and what they learn here. If you are trying to improve your conversation skills, I hope this blog helps you. Enjoy your time here.
